Since the conception of the band in 2006 Vertigo has quickly become a name synonymous with great live entertainment on the Gold Coast. Rather than relying on the reproduction of “industry standard” classics alone to be the backbone of their performances, the ever-changing variety of music styles that has been a trade mark of Vertigo from the beginning has seen the appeal of the band grow to a diversity of interests and age groups. The boys from Vertigo are well at home on the stage and treat the audience as if they were up there with them so they know how to strike the right balance between satisfying any requests and just taking the ball and running with it when the direction is right.

 

The chemistry of the band on stage has been established over years of playing together in different capacities giving the musical aspect of the performance an obvious cohesion of understanding between the players allowing any song to be given some extra expression through some spontaneous creative changes. Keeping every performance free-spirited and fun for the audience has been a reputation Vertigo has been proud to continue.
